Following the successful role out of other radio advert creative. Our challenge, for this project, was to create a new campaign for Hippos most important product.

Improve Product Recognition.

The campaign objective required us to communicate Hippo PRO3’s incredible features and all round performance. And to build greater awareness of the products benefits for UK builders.

Radio Advert.

– Character Development.

So to meet the objective, we decided to bring back two colourful characters who had first been introduced in a previous project. This would help to create a halo effect for Hippo and extend the commercials association to and from other campaigns.

Created around the premise of an over demanding customer and the toils of a downtrodden tradesman. This troubled relationship produced the perfect comical situation for our product. Allowing its key abilities to be highlighted, around the subject of getting demanding jobs done quickly. All before the football match starts!

The commercial is often broadcast nationally on talkSPORT radio. At the time of writing, talkSPORT has a weekly audience greater than 3 million. And their listener demographic is perfectly aligned to the building, decorating and DIY market.
